Non-Core Vaccines

Non-core vaccines are those that are based on lifestyle, exposure and risk. These include:

Bordetella - single vaccination then every 6-12 months

Influenza - initially 2 doses 3 weeks apart, then yearly

Lyme - initially 2 doses 3 weeks apart, then yearly

Feline Leukemia - initially 2 doses 3 weeks apart, then yearly

Puppy/Kitten Visits

At each of your puppy/kitten visits, we will perform a thorough physical exam, administer vaccinations, check a stool sample for intestinal parasites, give a deworming medication and send home heartworm/flea/tick medication. We will also discuss proper nutrition, parasite prevention, behavior and training techniques, timing of spay/neuter and answer any other questions you may have. For kittens, we also recommend doing a feline leukemia/FIV test after 8 weeks old. We know how important the first few months are and want to set you and your family up for a lifetime of success together.
