From those first puppy visits to the senior care visits, we tailor our approach to what your specific pet needs based on their lifestyle.
We perform many types of surgical procedures from routine spays and neuters to more extensive soft tissue surgeries to dentals.
Just like people, pets need routine dental care to help keep them healthy. Untreated dental disease can lead to heart, liver and kidney disease in addition to a painful mouth and possibly reduced appetite.
Puppy and kitten visits set the foundation for a healthy life with you. We will collaborate with you to determine best vaccines for your lifestyle and educate you on everything from diet to parasite prevention and when to spay/neuter.
At Silver Creek Animal Hospital, we offer in-house bloodwork, radiographs (x-rays), dental radiographs, urinalysis, cytologies (masses, skin, ears, etc.) and histopathology.
Senior pets are more likely to have chronic conditions which require more specialized monitoring. We recommend twice yearly exams and sometimes bloowork to ensure we are meeting their needs as they age.
We do see some urgent/emergent cases but will be honest if we feel your pet will be better served at an emergency or specialty facility.
We feel that all pets should be microchipped. Microchipping allows for lost pets to be reunited with their owners.
Saying goodbye is one of the hardest parts of having a pet. At Silver Creek Animal Hospital, we will help you through each step and try to make the experience as peaceful as possible.
